podBASICS provides the basic yoga tools and techniques necessary to build a safe and sustainable yoga practice and offers an opportunity for beginners to create a solid yoga foundation. This class moves at a slow pace, allowing students time to explore alignment and fundamental aspects of the postures. Instruction and demonstration of proper body mechanics are provided, as well as how to utilize props for support. podBASICS make for great beginner yoga classes and rotate weekly between set sequences, focused on specific types of postures, and provide the necessary foundation to advance to podFLOW 1 and 2 classes.
podFLOW 1 classes embody the true spirit of vinyasa yoga, breath-synchronized movement set to music. These yoga classes begin with a warm up through Sun Salutations and progress through sequences that build strength and flexibility. All classes focus on proper alignment and safety. podFLOW 1 utilizes set sequences that change with the seasons to honor nature and its inherent rhythm. podFLOW 1 is a physically challenging class suitable for all levels, from beginner to more advanced. The room temperature is set at 80 degrees with 20 percent humidity.
podFLOW 2 yoga classes, set to music, are dynamic and accessible, offering more challenging postures and variations based on the fundamentals of the podFLOW 1 classes. Yoga instructors bring their own creative element to podFLOW 2, resulting in diverse and inspiring yoga lessons. Each class focuses on proper alignment techniques and safe and intelligent sequencing progressions. podFLOW 2 is designed to encourage sweat and detoxification, as well as reduce stress. The room temperature for this hot yoga class is set at 95 degrees with 40% humidity.
Sweat, Heat & Beatz is a weekly podFLOW style class where the focus is not as much on alignment as it is on flowing and having fun! Students are encouraged to practice according to their own skill level. Rock those bigger more challenging poses, or just kick back, modify and enjoy the meditative aspect of your practice. This hot yoga class is led to an upbeat and fun playlist where anything goes. We pump the heat and the music, and scale back on the cueing and verbiage. podHOT is a hot yoga class which utilizes a set sequence of postures practiced in a room set to 105 degrees and 60 percent humidity. The class is designed to build strength, create balance and flexibility in the body, and produce a detoxifying sweat. This class includes breathing exercises, a standing series, and a floor series. The 60 or 75 minute classes are set to music and are suitable for all levels. A towel is required and water is highly recommended. Please come to class well-hydrated.

YIN increases joint mobility and improves flexibility by applying moderate stress to the body’s connective tissues like tendons, ligaments, and fascia. In a YIN class, expect to hold each posture passively for two to five minutes, supported with props and blankets. To create a relaxing environment, YIN yoga classes are dimly lit and use soft music. YIN is practiced at room temperature and classes are suitable for all levels.
